CoType® Foundry expands its Aeonik superfamily with Aeonik Soft, a release that tempers the original’s sharp geometry with a warmer, more approachable tone. While Aeonik is recognised for its clarity and neo-grotesque precision, Aeonik Soft subtly rounds key details, creating a typeface that feels more expressive without sacrificing structure.

This is not a conventionally rounded design. Instead, Aeonik Soft maintains its mechanical backbone while introducing gentle curves that add softness, playfulness and unexpected versatility. The result is well suited to editorial design, visual identities, packaging and digital products, as well as applications where a lighter, more human voice is required.

Aeonik Soft is available in eight weights, from Air to Black, each with matching italics, alongside a variable font for fine-tuned typographic control. It supports Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and Vietnamese, and includes a comprehensive set of OpenType features and stylistic alternates.
