Bolder is an independent 3D and moving image studio that creates remarkable visuals for high-performance products, from sportswear to cosmetics.

For close to two decades, Bolder has stayed focused on the work itself. The team has grown, the technology has changed, and what began as a Brighton-based studio is now a remote team working globally. Ahead of the studio’s 20th year, the time felt right to reflect what the studio has become.

Monday Nights built an identity for Bolder designed to express the studio in motion. At its centre is a sculptural ‘B’ form rendered in 3D, built to rotate in an endless loop. Abstract at rest, fully legible in motion. The static icon is lifted from a single, slightly off-axis frame within the motion sequence, retaining a sense of dimensionality even when still.

The wider system draws on the technicality of 3D software. A modular grid reveals process and structure, providing a deliberately visible structure for any branded element, tying typographic and image-based elements together across their new website to social media.
