The new identity for Norton Museum of Art is built around unexpected connections and dualities: art and life, old and new, institution and community, garden and gallery. Rather than separating these ideas, the system unites them into one cohesive experience. At its center is a revived Norton word mark, rediscovered in the museum archive and refined for today, honoring the institution’s progressive history while speaking to a new generation. The Diana Seal also returns in a more selective role, linking the museum’s origins to its present through a modern redraw inspired by Paul Manship’s Diana statue.

A new vibrant colour palette reflects both the collection and the energy of Florida, while Centra No. 2 was chosen for its clean geometry and circular forms inspired by the Foster + Partners expansion, which echoes the museum’s modern architecture. Photography captures the Norton as warm, open, and community-driven. Designed to flex across exhibitions, programming, print, and digital platforms, the identity positions the Norton as a welcoming cultural destination that makes art feel accessible, engaging, and part of everyday life.
