Amplitel
With over 8000 masts, Amplitel is Australia’s largest wireless telecommunications infrastructure provider, helping to connect communities the length and breadth of the country.
Until recently a sub-brand of the Telstra corporation, Maud was tasked with creating a new identity that reflected the strength of their network and their ‘always up’ ethos.
This was never more evident than in the creation of their symbol, a combination of the ‘A’ of ‘Ampltel’ and a series of stylised arrows, a reference to the structure of the masts themselves. This was paired with a simple but proud wordmark, that allowed it to be easily applied across a diverse range of formats.
We also thought it was important to emphasise the vast amount of data Amplitel was responsible for transmitting over its network. This was achieved through the use of a mono-spaced typeface, PT DIN Mono, for more functional communications, that was paired with DIN Next LT Pro to ensure accessibility across its brochures and website.
