Barker Langham, a global cultural consultancy, has a new visual identity and website shaped by genuine cross-cultural exchange. BOB worked closely with Arabic type designer Lara Captan, they developed a shared toolkit of Arabic and Latin forms, expressed through a bilingual logo and a flexible visual language used across print, digital and environmental touchpoints.
Secondary typefaces Px Grotesk and IBM Plex Sans Arabic echo the logo’s geometric rhythm, creating coherence across the system. The website shifts between left- and right-aligned layouts depending on language, with central navigation emphasising balance and symmetry. Pictograms and patterns evolve by breaking apart and reassembling core shapes, while users can explore content through gallery, list or map views, accommodating varied cultural approaches to information.
