Vancouver-based running and cycling retailer Enroute has unveiled a new brand identity by Tinloof, built around a simple idea: Outpace Yourself. Created ahead of a wider business relaunch, including new retail stores and a mobile app, the rebrand positions Enroute as more than a retailer, placing its sporting community and the pursuit of personal progress at its centre.

The visual identity translates physical exertion into a flexible graphic system. Typography stretches and compresses under pressure, while a sequence of dots and bars references performance metrics such as lactate levels and VO₂ max. The resulting language suggests movement, rhythm and continuous improvement.

A restrained colour palette allows the products to take precedence, supported by photography that captures the intensity of athletes in motion through deliberately blurred imagery. Rather than competing with the established sportswear brands it stocks, Enroute creates an identity around the feeling of movement itself.

Developed across branding, strategy, visual identity and motion, the system gives Enroute a distinctive platform for its growing retail and digital presence.
