Launched by Caserne in 2022, FORUM is an annual assembly gathering local and international designers in Montreal with the aim of developing connections, educating, and creating. Inspired by international summits, each edition addresses an important topic, with a touch of self-deprecation.
To announce its second edition and to reach designers from Quebec, Toronto, and New York, a traditional and digital campaign was carried out. A photo and video campaign featuring the names of the speakers throughout the city served as a reminder of the institutional framework and the major global summits that have inspired FORUM’s aesthetic since its inception. The complete program was then displayed throughout the city.
The visuals developed for wild posting are understated to contrast with other events of this nature. Profiles highlighting the backgrounds and work of the speakers were then disseminated on social networks. An invitation printed and sent to major North American design studios concluded the campaign. The event was sold out with nearly 500 people participating in the various activities spread over the three days of programming.
