As more premium restaurants explore delivery, maintaining a sense of occasion beyond the dining room has become a design challenge in itself. Hi.Dozo, OMSE created an identity that captures the precision and warmth of Michelin-starred chef Daisuke Nakazawa’s omakase experience while adapting it for DoorDash customers. Rather than leaning on familiar visual references associated with Japanese cuisine, the studio opts for a quieter, more considered approach.
The brand is anchored by a logo inspired by the curved shape of Sushi Nakazawa’s chef’s counter, subtly connecting the restaurant’s intimate setting with the experience of dining at home. Soft colours, understated typography, and elegantly resolved packaging work together to reinforce a feeling of care without becoming overly decorative. Every detail feels intentional, balancing accessibility with a sense of refinement. It’s a reminder that the strongest hospitality identities don’t simply package food they extend the atmosphere, values, and personality of a restaurant into entirely new contexts.
