Irvington Theater, one of the oldest performing arts center of the state of New York. The identity is designed to capture the cultural and historicenergy flowing through the Theater(est. in 1902).
Inspired by the visual language of Nineteenth centuryurban advertisement and wheat–paste posters, we created a system based on two main elements: layering and vernacular typography.
