Klangwelt Toggenburg Unveils New Visual Identity Ahead of Klanghaus Opening

For over 20 years, Klangwelt Toggenburg has been offering immersive experiences rooted in sound, resonance, tradition, and voice. Nestled in the scenic foothills of the Alps in Eastern Switzerland, the institution is known for its deep ties to an authentic and original Swiss music and singing culture.

In May 2025, Klangwelt Toggenburg celebrates a major milestone with the opening of the Klanghaus—a walk-in instrument and the first of its kind globally. This groundbreaking venue represents a unique fusion of architecture, nature, and sound, drawing international attention to the region’s rich acoustic heritage.

In tandem with the Klanghaus inauguration, Klangwelt Toggenburg introduces a new visual identity that reflects this evolution. “The opening marks an important milestone for Klangwelt Toggenburg. The new image reflects our transformation from an insider tip to an institution with international appeal,” says Mirjam Hadorn, CEO.

Studio Marcus Kraft led the strategic rebranding over three years, developing a distinctive visual system that captures the depth and complexity of Klangwelt’s mission. At its core is a custom dynamic corporate typeface, modular in design and inspired by the visual rhythm of overtones, sound frequencies, and the alpine landscape. The typeface embodies a visual resonance, echoing the physical and emotional experience of sound within the mountains and valleys of Switzerland.
