Founded in 2010, Lambert & Fils has grown to become one of the world’s leading contemporary lighting design studios. They create original collections in addition to collaborating on projects with emerging designers from all over the planet. They make all their lighting by hand in their Montreal workshop to preserve the link between design and manufacturer.
Lambert & Fils mandated Principal to review their visual identity and their graphic system. Principal worked with the company on several aspects of their identity to create a clear and flexible toolbox. Concerned with preserving the achievements and heritage of the brand, they retained certain visual characteristics that we believe are relevant and that allow us to recognise the designer of the lighting.
