After 2+ years of development, CoType Foundry is proud to introduce Lock, a superfamily designed by Mark Bloom and Diana Ovezea. The four subfamilies — Serif Serif Stencil Sans and Sans Stencil — each feature six weights and include glyph alternates, arrows, and more.
Drawing inspiration from calligraphic strokes, the letter shapes have been carefully crafted to achieve a versatile and modern humanist design. The Serif is sharp and outspoken while the Sans is blunt and understated, with each version offering a playful stencil companion to complete the ensemble.
