Launched in 1989 with Queen’s “Radio Ga Ga,” M1 became Lithuania’s first commercial radio station and a defining symbol of youth culture. But after 35 years, and with streaming, podcasts and on-demand habits reshaping behaviour, the brand needed to reassert its relevance. M1 turned to andstudio to unify its sub-brands, modernise its identity and retain the irreverent energy that made it iconic.

The redesign restores immediate recognition by rebalancing the original 1989 mark for today’s screens, sharpening its palette and replacing inconsistent fixes with a single, coherent system. From the logo’s angular geometry, andstudio built a custom alphabet that powers headlines, programme titles and motion assets, giving the platform a distinctive, disciplined voice.

A modular framework brings three channels, M1, M1+ and M1 Dance into one family, while a comprehensive toolkit ensures clarity and consistency across broadcast, digital and live environments.
