Zhiqi Liu is a Chinese photographer based in London and Shanghai, specialising in documentary and portrait photography. Her work delves into social and ecological changes, capturing the intricate relationship between people and nature, as well as the subtle emotions of daily life through her images. Zhiqi’s photography journey began with a foundation in documentary photography and traditional darkroom techniques.
Zhiqi continually challenges herself by integrating commercial elements into her creations to expand her creative boundaries. Throughout the shooting process, she emphasizes the use of environment and goods to create visual impacts across different environments and textures, conveying her inner emotions and thoughts.
