Studio Blackburn were tasked by Mediatel Group CEO Greg Grimmer with moving the Mediatel brand identity onwards from one previously described metaphorically as, “the world of CMYK”, to one of “a vibrant RGB”.
After carrying out an extensive brand and competitor audit, Studio Blackburn advised the organisation to move away from the existing logotype, a too familiar and much over-used icon of an off/on switch, to a more mature and authoritative masthead, accompanied by a shorthand symbol to reflect the stature of the brand.
