Romance Was Born

Romance was Born needed a new identity to convey the opulence, humour and stories that inspire many of RWB’s collections, while serving as a minimal gallery that steps back and lets the product shine. It needed to modernise the label, while remaining practical and adaptable. 

In a sea of sans serif, as notable fashion industry heavyweights gravitate towards the inconspicuous austerity of sans serif logotypes signifying luxury through simplicity, Maud leant into the flamboyant and the excessive, producing a visual identity as expressive as the RWB sensibility without losing function and utility.
