In a bold repositioning project, Standard Projects helped global tech platform SingleStore evolve from a database scale-up into a generational real-time data brand. Founded in San Francisco in 2011, SingleStore powers mission-critical digital experiences across industries from fraud detection to personalised streaming and counts major enterprises among its users.

The challenge was clear: SingleStore’s brand didn’t reflect its strategic value as a backbone for real-time data infrastructure. The design team responded by shaping a brand identity rooted in time and human connection, encapsulating how nanosecond-level data processing enables meaningful moments.

The refreshed visual system uses temporal principles in logo construction, art direction, and imagery to express both technical performance and emotional impact. The result is a distinctive identity that aligns SingleStore’s high-performance data platform with its global ambitions.

This project highlights how thoughtful brand strategy and design can elevate complex technology for broader recognition and market relevance.
