Founded in 2010, specs.berlin was born to address the scarcity of high-quality multi-label stores for independent eyewear. Specs provides premium spectacles from brands like Jaques Marie Mage, Garrett Leight, Cutler and Gross, and others – both online and at their stores in Berlin.
With the most recent relaunch, our team at Humans & Machines executed a complete revamp of the visual design and a technical re-platform. The design concept is shaped by the fusion of two distinct underlying grids: While the twelve-column UI grid offers functional structure, the ten-column brand grid injects a playful off-centered dynamic
