The NoGood Book — Volume 1 documents the evolution of NoGood, an independent creative practice shaped by retro technology, open-web counterculture and a desire to work outside conventional boundaries.

Founded under the NoGood pseudonym in 2021, the project gradually became a space where personal experiments and commissioned work could coexist, creating a visual and conceptual thread spanning several years. In 2024, the decision to self-publish brought the work into a new format, culminating in the release of the first volume in August 2026 after two years of production.

Across 272 pages, the book explores the origins of NoGood, the thinking and processes behind the work, and the ideas that have influenced its development. It also features essays from writers and thinkers including Cory Doctorow, Douglas Rushkoff and Joan Westenberg.

More than an archive, The NoGood Book is a reflection on curiosity, persistence and the freedom to carve out an independent creative space.
