The Post Building
The Post Building, a project by AHMM architects, transformed a derelict Royal Mail sorting office in Holborn, London, into nearly 28,000 sq m of new office, retail, residential, and public spaces. Following its completion, a publication was designed by Cartlidge Levene to chronicle the design process as an architect’s diary, featuring dated pages that detail the project’s journey from initial inspiration to completion.
The book, with rounded corners, black edges, and a metallic silver cover embossed with the building’s cladding frame, reflects the building’s monochrome aesthetic. It is the 28th edition in AHMM’s Fifth Man series, with the publication number foiled on the back cover.
