Transforming Spaces, Driving Growth is more than a tagline it defines Yllw’s philosophy. The studio’s approach centers on transformation: breathing new life into rooms, surfaces, and materials, from adaptable offices and restaurants to upcycled furniture crafted in-house.

The new identity by Gärde Design takes the square meter the smallest building block of space as its foundation from this emerges a flexible design system where symbols evolve, patterns shift, and layouts move with fluidity. At its core is the Y-symbol, derived from the square meter, designed to stretch, adapt, and transform. It acts as a visual metaphor for Yllw’s role as designer and agent of change.

Typography also plays an active role. Using GD Grio, a variable typeface, the identity adapts to create space or assert presence. Every layout is treated as a blueprint, giving text, imagery, and form room to flow. The result: a living identity that mirrors Yllw’s mission to transform spaces and drive growth.
