For nearly eight decades, BAFTA has celebrated the very best in film, television and games. As the organisation continues to evolve, it needed an identity system capable of honouring its rich heritage while providing a unified platform for the future.

Studio Kiln partnered with BAFTA to create a procedurally generated language that ties together all four of its awards ceremonies under a single coherent system.

At the heart of the identity is a simple idea: Every great piece of work begins as a spark, a rough concept, a collection of possibilities. Through collaboration, craft and refinement, those ideas are shaped into something extraordinary.

To illustrate this journey, Studio Klin created a universe of flowing, coloured particles. Individually, these particles represent fragments of thought and creative potential. As they move, collide and gather, they symbolise the transformation of an initial idea into a finished creation.

The particle system became a visual metaphor for the creative process itself, allowing the identity to feel alive, expressive and constantly evolving.
