Stockholm-based design agency Söderhavet has unveiled the identity for The Dock, a new waterfront destination hotel in Södertälje that blends hospitality, leisure and business under one roof. The branding draws on the city’s industrial heritage, using bold condensed typography and a refined colour palette inspired by the hotel’s interiors to create a confident yet welcoming visual language.

Across signage, menus, digital touchpoints and communications, the identity feels seamlessly integrated into the guest experience rather than applied as decoration. Tone of voice also plays a central role, balancing warmth with clarity through concise, conversational copy. Housing 183 rooms alongside a panoramic sky bar, restaurants, meeting spaces, a cinema and spa, The Dock’s brand captures the character of a contemporary destination designed for work, relaxation and social connection.
