Local Studio has reimagined the identity of Marie Antoinette for the agency’s 15th anniversary using the milestone as an opportunity to sharpen its voice and confidently stake its place in contemporary culture. At the heart of the system is a single, elegant device: the parenthesis. It becomes a space for ideas, a quiet pause, and a flexible graphic cue that is simple, exacting, and immediately recognisable.
The new identity is firmly rooted in typography, editorial structure, and motion. It expands and contracts, shifts and adapts, yet always holds a clear point of view. The result feels curious, current, and distinctly independent. More than a refresh, it’s a living system one that evolves alongside the agency, making its mindset visible in every expression.
