SECCA
The South East Centre for Contemporary Art (SECCA) in Bega, Australia, transforms the town’s art gallery into a world-class cultural hub. Designed by Sibling Architecture, the building’s striking facade inspired a custom stencilled display typeface that reflects themes of openness and boundary-breaking.
The visual identity incorporates a sunny palette, referencing local landscapes and the building’s yellow awnings. This branding extends to signage, wayfinding, and a dynamic new website, which features a salon-style landing page that serves as an evolving cultural notice board. SECCA strategically connects the remote region to the global art world while celebrating its local identity.
